If it’s been that long we ought to know by now who came out in top of all the raging, the devil or god?

Deja entendu is quite good also.

I randomly decided to listen to this today without realizing the significance. After loving Deja Entendu about as much as you can love an album, TDAGARIM was initially a let down for me. It was different, it was quieter, it was less radio friendly. I put it in a shelf and occasionally tried to get into it to no avail. 3 years later Daisy comes out. I buy it day 1 hoping that maybe it’s a return to form. Nope. Daisy was not for me. I put it up on the same shelf and forgot about it. Years go by and now I’m a different person than the young, angsty teen that fell in love listening to Your Favorite Weapon. I decide on a whim to give TDAGARIM and Daisy another try, and holy shit. They are my two favorite albums now. I can’t get enough. It turns out that I just wasn’t ready for them the first time around.

Been listening to if for nearly six years now. Such a fantastic album.

Also, if you haven’t heard the leaked demos, go give them a listen.

Saw them in concert in El Paso a couple weeks ago and, even though I really like this album, nothing compares to DE and YFW. The energy in the venue when they played the old songs was 10x that of the DAGARIM (which they played in its entirety). My friend who had never heard Brand New loved the old songs but was perplexed with how boring TDAGARIM was.

Bottom line: I like the album, but nowhere near the Brand New I fell in love with in HS. Guess Ive been eating too many member berries.
